Things are settling down a bit here, so I am finally getting around to filling in the gap of our missing summer. It was awesome.
We had a great time visiting with the family at Great Grandma McQuivey's house. Jeremy's brother Matt brought a couple of horses and the kids had a ball riding them. Later that evening we drove out to Jeremy's Mom's house to see her and to wait for the fireworks to start. Sadly it started to rain so no fireworks show. We were all pretty bummed but we ended up shooting off fireworks the next night and disturbing the neighbors with a highly powdered up mussle loader. Poor cookie (family dog) was shaking so bad from all the fun.

Kyra's first time riding a horse by herself. Probably the first time riding a horse ever.

Gabe with Aunt Shania and cousin Lili.

Why Del is on the back is beyond me. (she's trying to get off)

Adelia wasn't too sure about these horses. She'd rather enjoy them from a distance.

No saddle needed for this cowboy!

Delia was in love with all the little kittens. This is the first time she's held a kitty.

Cousins: Lili and Delia

Sharing water balloons.

These two weren't sure what to think about each other. Delia was pretty shy to all the new faces. Once she got a waterballoon though she at least stood next to her new friend.

If the swinging never stopped, Del would be all good with that.

This is one happy girl who desperately needed to get out of the car and play after such a long trip.

On our trip we came across this sleeping rock dragon. I'm afraid the picture isn't that great but it was pretty cool.
