Ideas come easy, pulling them off, well...

So I am a hair brain. I don't know why I think that we have time for whatever I feel like doing. I really should consult my calendar when planning things. Fiesta week was GREAT... and busy. Wednesday, we had planned to eat that yummy cake right? Well, sort of forgot a small detail. Jeremy's belt ceremony. oops. Okay, so we'll push it off another day. (The belt ceremony was amazing like usual. The kids love going to watch all of Daddy's students show off their stuff.)Thursday, cake time!!! Right? Uh, well...Daddy doesn't get home from classes until way after bedtime. Arrgh! So movies are a great filler. Friday, cake time!! For real! We had some friends over to fiesta with. As I was dumping all the milk into the cake I remembered something that would have been very valuable a few days ago. Jeremy didn't like my tres leches last time. In fact, I don't think the friends we had over liked it last time either. This remembered information was disturbing. We could have had it Wednesday without Boy and he wouldn't have cared. Oh well, the kids and I looked forward to it for days and were not disappointed (other than not all could enjoy this delicacy). I put strawberry freezer jam between the two layers. It was one delicious strawberry cream delight.

Saturday threw a wrench in our fun, or rather MY fun. As I caught a cold. This is not a rare thing. I get them very easy and they last FOREVER. Nyquil is my friend. We still had fun Saturday playing "add-on" on the trampoline. I haven't played this game in years and oddly my tricks were not as cool as they once were but it was really fun. We ended our Fiesta week with a trip to the park, a BBQ and pina coladas. Man, our fun is way too focused around food. Food=Fun! (I took a few pictures but they are on my phone and I'm too lazy to get them off. Maybe later...maybe not.)
