I planned on posting this earlier and then thought with all the birthday's in August, why not have a birthday bash! So that's what this is! Me first! :) My birthday was great. Jeremy and the kids took me out to lunch at Chili's where I had the fattest burger in my life. I really wanted to slice the meat horizontally in half. We had a really good time though, lots of laughter and yummy strawberry lemonade.
Now, Jeremy doesn't normally leave food on his plate. He tells a story of when he was around 10 or 12 his parents took him and his older brother to an all you can eat buffet. Everyone was finished eating except Jeremy. He just kept going back for more and his parents finally had to force him to leave. He wasn't very happy since before they went his parents told him he could eat as much as he wanted and he wasn't able to. So now for the reason of this little story it just goes to show how thick that hamburger was! Yes, he had one too and couldn't finish it.
Kyra loves ordering for herself and letting the waitress know when her drink is low.
Gabe was very nervous to talk to the waitress. He did a good job. Luckily for him he has Kyra to keep his drink topped off!
With this guy, you never really know! He's very unpredictable. So, I was really impressed at how well he did. He's growing up so fast! He was like one of the big kids coloring his paper and patiently waiting for his food.
Adelia was having a great time dipping her chips into the salsa. She is the only one out of our babies that will actually take bites instead of just sucking off the dipped item and re-dipping or stuffing the whole thing in whether it fits or not. She just amazes me. Petite girl, petite bites, big appetite. :) She'll eat all day. Then again, with the small bites, it takes more time to eat and by the time she's done she'll still be hungry. Makes sense to me! August 15th- Charlene's birthday! I couldn't find a picture of this woman on my computer! How she avoids all pictures is beyond me! Anyway-Happy Birthday! We love you and miss you!

August 22nd -Gabe's 7th birthday! Jeremy had to work and got home around 5:00 The kids watched The Never Ending Story...which was just that, never ending. Gabe said, "It's my birthday, so I get to choose what to do." So, that is what he did since he woke up until Jeremy got home. We then had pizza pin wheels for dinner, opened presents, and went to the park to try out said presents. When we got home we watched his new movie Nim's Island. He was a bit disappointed that none of his friends were able to come over for a party on his birthday.
Gabe loves books about animals. He makes sure he gets at least one book on animals everytime he goes to the library. So he was pretty excited when his movie, Nim's island came with a book on animals and sea creatures.

Gabe is now officially a skater dude! He loves his new skateboard and is getting a hang of riding it.
Surprise! On Saturday morning I took Gabe to the store for a few grocery items and when we came back Jeremy took Gabe into the kitchen to show his a new trick. The kitchen was empty and Jeremy had an ordinary sheet that he held up and performed the best magic trick ever! He made a bunch of Gabe's friends "Magically appear"
We had the fortune teller "Miss Rose" come and tell everyone their future which included cake.

One of our magicians- Marcos- made a penny disappear! Now you see it...
Now you don't!
Another magician by the name of Trevor, actually bent a perfectly straight penny!
Yes, this is a plate of flour! Sadly, Trevor was the one that knocked the penny off it's tower and had to pick it up with his teeth!
It's hard to see in the picture but he got the penny! Good job Trevor! What a face! :D
Yep...Elliot's going for it now!
He wasn't so sure about that! It was fun to try...until you tasted that flour in your mouth...YUCK!
Analise's turn! Very carefully...
There it is! She got it!
