That's right! The cake tells all! We're down to the last chapter of the twenties! This is not exactly how I wanted his cake to look but I couldn't find a smaller tip to pipe on the titles I wanted to use. And I've put off posting for so long that I can't even remember what I wanted to put on there. Blah. BUT, this was my first attempt at making/using fondant! It was a lot of fun and my new favorite for decorating cakes! I had taken pictures of
different views of the cake and they somehow got deleted.
Anyhow, if you can't tell they are books.

We had a good time playing our newly found love...tennis! We're quite terrible at it but it's fun anyway and a good workout since we're
constantly running for the ball. While playing, a couple of near pros came to play next to us. It was good to watch them and pick up tips but...yeah...not too fun to play next to. We left shortly after when we could no longer take the humiliation.

This little man has taken up the responsibility of gatherer. ((AWESOME!)) His game is to try to keep Mom and Dad from running out of yellow balls. He's quite good at it.

Excuse the fuzzy pictures, our camera is down for the count and phone cameras are just not that wonderful. Here sits the birthday boy in the birthday chair recieving an overwhelming amount of love in his sparce gifts.

Hope you had a good birthday! We love you enormously! :)

That cake is AMAZING! Good job!
Is Aaron your ball gatherer? I can't tell.. they both look the same with shaved heads.. I think it is Aar, though.
oh, I remember the ball-gathering days. that's hilarious. and Aaron rocks those glasses!
nice job on the fondant! do you make your own? I'd love the recipe if you do. I've only played with the pre-made and it really doesn't taste very good. really not at all.
